Time for more pooches.

I have been hibernating for the past 3 weeks. I managed to catch some kind of virus that has been doing the rounds, I very rarely catch cold or flu but this time I guess I got lucky! As most people with MS or any other autoimmune condition will tell you, getting a virus is horrible, it drags you down and takes a long time to recover. I have got rid of the original symptoms but I am still wiped out with no energy, I suppose I will just have to continue resting until I am back to “normal” 😀

Love Underdogs will be getting a new shipment of dogs from Romania on the 11th. 🙂 As usual there will be a wonderful assortment of young and older pooches.

The first of the new dogs is Pippin, there has already been some discussion about her coming to me on foster. Pippin is a lot like Annie who we fostered a year ago, very nervous and wary of people, she is 8 years old and has been in the Romanian shelter for 4 years!!

Another mature pooch is Angel who is 5 years old.

Crumble is 1 year old and looks just like Karine Hauser’s dog, Draculina, I would be surprised if he made it as far as the kennels if Karine gets her hands on him. 😀

Leti is a gorgeous 6 month old, she is expected to be medium to large when she is done growing.

Another youngster is 5 month old Twinkle.

And finally for today is 5 month old William.

In all there will be 30 dogs arriving on the November transport from Romania. Details of all dogs can be found on the Love Underdogs website.

The pups have arrived now. 🙂 They can be seen arriving on this Youtube video.

One of the dogs who has waited a while for a home is the beautiful Cain who is about 2 years old.

Something I always forget to mention but really should is that All Love Underdogs are vet checked, behaviour assessed, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and have pet passports.

About Mick C Gorman

Slightly damaged old bloke who is plodding on with more than a little help from a great wife. I have been married for 39 years and have 2 grown up children. I did the usual thing and replaced children with dogs when the nest became empty, best thing I ever did (apart from getting married of course). Life has taken a few interesting turns so far but this Epilepsy thing beats the lot! I love lots of things but in the past have never really stuck with them long enough to be good at them, I am trying harder to be better at a few things rather than okay at loads of things. There is still plenty of time. :-D

Lots to love in this batch of pooches. Keep us posted as to how they go. Pippin looks a lovely girl—assuming she is the furry one at the top. Can’t imagine four years in a shelter for her.

    • Pippin is the top one, she has the haunted eyes of a long term shelter dog, just like Annie did. 😦 In Romanian terms she is very lucky, she ended up at Victory shelter in Brasov which is “no kill” So many strays die in the killing stations in a very inhumane way. 😦

  2. “Mans best friend”!!!!!! It’s a good thing there a few people Mick C Gorman to take up the role as dogs best friend.

  3. Midwestern Plant Girl says:

Hope you feel better soon! These guys all look so cute!, I hope they get adopted quickly!

  4. Ralph says:

So sad, wish we could adopt em all. I know, I was a rescue dog from an Ireland puppy farm

  5. Looking forward to reading they’re progress. Very lucky dogs to be escaping the hell over there and hopefully it won’t be long until they find their very own home and enjoy life as they deserve.

    • Thank you for visiting. 🙂
You can check on them yourself when they arrive, Love Underdogs welcome visitors to the kennels as long as they phone first. There are many delicious pooches to be met most of whom have escaped the Romanian hell. I will of course do updates especially for any that I foster.
