Luca and Indy pictures. (35 of them)!

This is a bit of a self indulgent posting but I have pictures in so many places I will come across more from time to time.Β While going through photo bucket I found these pictures of Indy and his late brother, Luca. I thought that I would post them, just because.

First, lone pictures of Indy.

Indy cooling down one evening this summer.

Indy in Wales

Again in Wales but being athletic.

Mountain climbing Indy.

Very beautiful Indy, in a wood in Scotland.

Handsome profile.

Relaxed Indy.

Moody Indy.

Have luggage will travel.

Relaxed in the Cairngorms.

Exploring the Cairngorms.

Gathering sticks in the Trossachs, the purpose of which will become clear in the last five pictures.

Lone pictures of Luca.

gorgeous Luca

Luca pretending to be dognified. πŸ˜€

Handsome Luca

Luca just enjoying his garden.

Luca in Wales

Luca in Wales

Luca the guard

Luca really is dognified.

Mature Luca

11 year old Luca, he looked young right up until the end. πŸ™‚

Nice Luca

Just enjoying a stroll in Scotland.

Chilling in the Cairngorms.

Luca’s quirky smile.

Luca loved snow.

When watching dinner being cooked in the motorhome Luca fell asleep. πŸ˜€

This is how I mostly remember the boys, together.

The boys heading into the woods in the Trossachs!!

boys in grass

My favourite picture of the boys. πŸ™‚

Indy has a habit of bringing items to be thrown, if it isn’t he thinks there is something wrong with it so will bring something else? if Luca is laying in the way, tough for him! πŸ˜€

Stick number 1?

Stick number 2?

Number 3 must be ok?

Number 4 has to be the one?

I give up! I will just chew this one. πŸ˜€

Looking back over these pictures made me realise how much the boys changed in appearance over the years, they always remained the same in character though. Loving, loyal, well behaved (mostly) and really funny. Now I remember why I love dogs so much.

Some people I know ask how we can keep having dogs after Luca died because of the pain his death caused? Looking back over these pictures I remembered every one, where we were, what we were doing and how happy we were. πŸ™‚

I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.

About Mick C Gorman

Slightly damaged old bloke who is plodding on with more than a little help from a great wife. I have been married for 36 years and have 2 grown up children. I did the usual thing and replaced children with dogs when the nest became empty, best thing I ever did (apart from getting married of course). Life has taken a few interesting turns so far but this Epilepsy thing beats the lot! I love lots of things but in the past have never really stuck with them long enough to be good at them, I am trying harder to be better at a few things rather than okay at loads of things. There is still plenty of time. :-D

  1. Don’t feel indulgent by taking so many photo’s of your dogs. You will always treasure them. I know I do, especially the ones of my Goldies who have passed. Another thought…I have so many dog photo’s I HAD to start a blog to show them off

I love the photo of Luca sleeping in the motorhome! That took a lot of talent. πŸ™‚ And of course, Indy is absolutely adorable too.

  4. Two sweet dogs…I enjoyed scrolling through all your photos. I wish you well in finding another dog to love. πŸ™‚

  5. Two gorgeous fur babies. Yes, the pain is immeasurable when they leave us, but then the next fills us up once again as our hearts forever retain the memories of all the love and fun, the joy they bring. I’m with you a zillion per cent on loving dogs. Happy New Year. Paulette

Thank you and a happy new year to you. I was just commenting on your blog when you posted this comment (spooky) I have just got my first Goldie since Luca died 2 years ago despite having 20 foster dogs in that time I couldn’t face getting a Goldie, I thought it would have felt like trying to replace him? We now have Hamish in our family. πŸ™‚
