It was at this exact time (17.30 gmt) 8 years ago we arrived at Andrews farm in Scotland, as it was starting to get dark we decided to go straight to the valley and settle for the night. The next day was Luca’s birthday but little did we know that by not stopping by the house we had missed the birth of Indy! When we went to the house on the 21st we were met by a basket of 8 squeaking little Border collies. 🙂
Happy birthday, Indy and we will be thinking of Luca the great, tomorrow.
Indy and Luca were always this close. 🙂

What a lovely pair.
A Black Retriever x dog looking for a home is Woody.
Breed: Llewellyn setter x Springer spaniel
Age: 2 years 6 months
Location: in Ireland – coming to us in next week or two.
Woody is a beautiful young and much-loved dog being surrendered because his owner suffers from crippling arthritis and he feels he cannot give Woody the exercise he needs. He is quite strong on a lead but walks fine on a Halti and he is trained to the whistle although his owner Gerry admits that if he’s on a strong scent, his recall is not instant. He does likes to hunt (birds and rabbits) but the only thing he’s ever caught is a pigeon, which he brought back completely unharmed. Woody has lived as an only dog and settles well on his own (and can be left). But he loves other dogs and is keen to play. He currently sleeps in a kennel outside and is clean in his pen so we expect him to housetrained. After a good walk, he is happy to chill out for the rest of the day. We are looking for a rural home for Woody who is fully vaccinated, wormed and Frontlined but not yet neutered.
