It has been snowing all day, we don’t have much accumulated, maybe 3 inches or so but the boys don’t care. Mack loves to play in the snow, he will even roll for hours in frost. Because I am not very steady on my feet on a normal day, Julia came with me to take the boys for a walk.

A short walk (slide) from home is a large area of scrub land

At the scrubMack couldn’t wait to roll! 😀 while Indy searched for something to play with.

Mack rolling

Mack ended up plastered in snow so it was a good job that he was wearing his coat.

Soggy doggy

He still looked handsome though. 🙂

Indy can be a also be a poser.

Indy, snow dog

All in all I think that they enjoyed themselves despite Mack having to be on a long line? it is 50 feet long but he seldom wants to be any further than that from us.

Fun run

posy pair of pooches

It was enjoyable for all of us to get out and enjoy the exercise but I think that is enough of the white stuff for this year, I am ready for the summer. 🙂

Mack had to wait until we got home and took his coat off to do a big roll in the snow! 😀

Wiccaweys dog of the day is Shadow.

Shadow has come to Wiccaweys after he was rescued by a lovely and well meaning retired couple from a cruel and totally unsuitable home. His previous home bought him from a farm in Wales as a puppy and took him home were he was just bullied and beaten before being throw outside where he was rescued by the couple.

The retired couple tried to help Shadow and loved him very much, but soon realised they weren’t collie people and unable to keep up with and give a young active and intelligent collie the stimulation and time he needs.

Shadow is one smart cookie. He loves to be doing and wants to have fun. He would love a home with someone who can keep him busy with plenty of brain games!!

Shadow is currently being fostered so is getting used to family life. 🙂

About Mick C Gorman

Slightly damaged old bloke who is plodding on with more than a little help from a great wife. I have been married for 36 years and have 2 grown up children. I did the usual thing and replaced children with dogs when the nest became empty, best thing I ever did (apart from getting married of course). Life has taken a few interesting turns so far but this Epilepsy thing beats the lot! I love lots of things but in the past have never really stuck with them long enough to be good at them, I am trying harder to be better at a few things rather than okay at loads of things. There is still plenty of time. :-D
