Luca and Mack Tumble.

I mentioned in a previous posting that Luca liked to play with the foster dogs. His favourite game was “Tumble monkeys” when he was fit and well he would chase and jump on the foster dog.

This first video was a few months after Luca was diagnosed with bone cancer so is more sedate that normal. Click picture to play, video opens in new tab/window

The second video was shortly before Luca died and was probably one of his last tumbles? I was touched by how Indy stepped in when Mack started to win.

The king is dead, long live the king. (Also opens in new tab/window)

Indy and Luca really were this close! I love dogs. 🙂

Wiccaweys dog needing a home is Samuel.

Samuel came to us from Swindon Dog Wardens. He was a cruelty case and has been at Wiccaweys for a long time.

Samuel is a very happy boy who is excellent with other dogs. He needs a quietly confident home who will understand and work with his special Sammy ways. He loves life and can be over enthusiastic in his outlook, especially when he leaps up, all four paws off the ground, to shoulder height! He has springs in his paws! Samuel is eager to please and when you are his person he is a devoted and loving friend. Samuel needs to have complete confidence in his human friends and he finds ‘faffy’ people a worry. If he doesn’t think you have the confidence to handle a situation, he feels like he has to help out.

Because of Samuel’s bouncy approach to life, he would be better suited to an adult home with another dog for company. Samuel is crate trained, he loves his bed and settles and travels well.

About Mick C Gorman

Slightly damaged old bloke who is plodding on with more than a little help from a great wife. I have been married for 36 years and have 2 grown up children. I did the usual thing and replaced children with dogs when the nest became empty, best thing I ever did (apart from getting married of course). Life has taken a few interesting turns so far but this Epilepsy thing beats the lot! I love lots of things but in the past have never really stuck with them long enough to be good at them, I am trying harder to be better at a few things rather than okay at loads of things. There is still plenty of time. :-D
