Meet the star of our house, Indy. Indy is a farm dog who adopted us when he was 10 months old, 6 years ago. He was bred by our friend on his sheep farm in Scotland but took a shine to Julia from day 1. Indy was and is much more interested in people than he is sheep! although he did steal some sheep while I was answering a call of nature in the Welsh mountains a few years ago. 😀
Indy is the most gorgeous dog you could wish to meet, loving, intelligent, friendly and very funny. Luca would be proud of him. 🙂
Indy is well known around where we live as the good dog that always carries things. Whenever we go out he has to have something in his mouth which is usually an empty pop bottle that he has picked up from the street, it used to be a toy but Mack would rob him of it so bottles are safer. Lately Indy has managed to have tug ropes without Mack robbing him. 🙂 Often people will come up to us to complement Indy, we are never aware that people are watching him until they tell us. Indy doesn’t wear a lead unless we are somewhere new and even the dog warden is a fan. Something astonishing has been happening lately, several times Indy has acted really odd at home and climbed on me slobbering all over my face? he has done this 3 or 4 times before I have gone on to have a seizure?? he hasn’t done it every time I have had seizures but he has never done it and me not have one? I think he has super powers. 😀
We really love Indy.
Although we have a foster dog who needs a home it is one in foster with someone else who I am going to mention today. Alma needs a home and you can read all about her at the Wiccaweys fosterers blog by clicking on her picture. Details of how to adopt from Wiccaweys can be found on their website. Wiccaweys
Alma was adopted today January 26th 2013. 🙂
Have a great life, Alma
